The Island Dugi Otok

Dugi Otok, in English “Long Island”, is 45 km long and only a few kilometers wide. This island is not yet overrun by tourists.

From Zadar you need an hour and a half by ferry to Brbinj. From there you can discover the island by car. From the coastal road you can enjoy the unforgettable views at unspoiled coves and charming ports.

The small town Sali, in the north-eastern part of the island, is regularly visited by passenger boats. Here you can rent a scooter for discovering the most beautiful spots on the island.

Hidden deep and only accessible via a narrow road, you’ll find one of the most beautiful spots of the Adriatic Sea. “Colombo Beach”  or “Veli zal” is our own little paradise, a sheltered little beach with small heated stones and crystal clear sea.

The natural park Telašćica

The Natural Park Telašćica is situated on the southern tip of the island Dugi Otok, following on from the National Park Kornati.

It’s a unique nature area, with exceptionally valuable fauna and flora.

The park is full of contrasts: quiet bays, craggy cliffs, forests of pine and holm oaks. Characteristic is the big salt lake MIR, which contains medical properties.

Telascica bay is the biggest natural port of the Adriatic Sea, frequented by yachts and sailing boats.

The landscape made up of cliffs and bays, lakes, islands and the crystal clear sea make Telašćica into a beautiful place to visit.

One day on Dugi Otok is really ENJOYING!
